About Iron Gate
Home service built on neighborly standards.
Iron Gate Home Services is a locally owned, family-oriented company based in Canfield, Ohio. We help homeowners and property professionals care for the repairs, maintenance, cleanup, lighting, and safety improvements that make a property work better.
The idea is straightforward: listen closely, communicate clearly, respect the home, and follow through on the work that belongs within our scope. It is a practical service experience shaped by the values of the Mahoning Valley and by a belief that taking care of a neighbor’s home is a responsibility worth taking seriously.
A service-minded beginning
A return to the Mahoning Valley
Iron Gate was founded by a Fire Captain and trusted community member whose professional background reinforced the importance of preparation, calm communication, and responsibility to others. That background informs the company’s values; it is not a department endorsement and does not mean Iron Gate provides emergency-response services.
After time away, the founder returned to the Mahoning Valley with family because of the people, the community, and the family values found here. Canfield became home again, and Iron Gate grew from a simple observation: many households and property professionals need one dependable place to start with the smaller repairs, recurring upkeep, and property tasks that do not fit neatly into a major remodeling project.
The company was created to bring honesty, hard work, integrity, and thoughtful communication to that space. It is family owned and community focused, with a service approach built around respect for homes and the everyday practice of taking care of neighbors.
The Iron Gate standard
Five values guide the experience
These are working principles for how a request should be handled from the first conversation through the final walkthrough.
-
Show Up
Treat each commitment as important and arrive ready to understand the work in front of us.
-
Communicate Clearly
Explain the scope, raise questions early, and keep customers informed as the work moves forward.
-
Respect the Home
Work carefully around the property, the household, and the details that make a home personal.
-
Do the Work Carefully
Favor thoughtful preparation and a clean finish over shortcuts or unnecessary complication.
-
Stand Behind the Experience
Take ownership of communication and follow-through so the service experience feels dependable.
“Stand behind the experience” describes our commitment to responsible communication and follow-through. It is not a statement of a legal warranty.
